It shined beautifully for our March clean-up: the long and winding Observatory Avenue.
Only seven residents braved the hot sun and heavy traffic yesterday (Sunday, 26 March) to clean up the equally long pavement.
The group moved from the park at The Curve down to Innes Street and cleaned two stormwater drains, two water meters with missing covers and filled fifteen bags with papers, bottles and other unrecyclable rubbish.
And the reward? A picnic prepared by Na-Iem Dolly in the luscious park - but we missed the residents living in Observatory Avenue... Rachel Browne and little Emma get to grips with a filthy water meter
