It took three months, but thanks to Council's Mr Cowan Manana and Mr Sol Cowan St Georges Road is not ST GOERGES anymore!
The wrong spelling of certain street names has been a hotly debated topic on the Forum with 8 replies and 144 views on the subject.
On 8 August a formal complaint was sent to council on the incorrect spelling of 3 signs for St Georges Road (spelt St Goerges Road).
This was followed up on 12 August by another resident who picked up another THREE incorrect spelling of the street's name and sent 6 pictures of the wrong signage to council.
The incorrect signs were removed middle September - and beginning November the new CORRECT street name signs went up.
